Gethsemane is a family of believers who trust in God for His Power and Deliverance, and is forever graceful as a loving body, caring family and warm home.

BIBLE STUDY
The Hour of Power Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, December 9th.  Please prepare yourselves for an interesting journey through the Gospel of Mark.

NEW MINISTRY
Pastor Drummer’s “Hour of Power Bible Study” is Tuesday, 1:00 PM. The study is the same as Pastor’s Wednesday’s Bible Study in Luke but just one week behind.

CHURCH OFFICE STAFF
Deaconess Elizabeth Knox, our Church Secretary, is in the Office Monday-Thursday (10:00 - 4:00) to assist and coordinate all general church matters (Tribes, scheduling rooms, giving statements, etc.)  Sister Cassandra Newsome, our new Pastor’s Secretary is in the office Tuesday and Thursday (9:30-4:30) and Wednesday (9:30-12:30) to assist and coordinate all meetings, requests and concerns for Pastor Drummer.

CHURCH BUS
If you need a ride to church, please notify the Church Office.

NOTES:
Please be considerate when using Church Parking Lot - Do not block fellow Members’ cars.
Bible Study classes will resume Tuesday, January 7th and Wednesday, January 8th.

Tribal Council Meeting @ 6:10 PM
Please come ready to share your 2014 praise report and be ready to see what God has in store for us in 2015. If you are unable to attend this very important meeting, please send a representative from your tribe.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 30, 2015
6:30 PM

The A.S.K. Ministry will meet in Room 109.. All members are requested to be in attendance.  Anyone interested in joining the A.S.K. Ministry is invited to attend as well.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 31, 2015
10:00 AM

The Usher’s Ministry will meet in the Sanctuary.  Training will be included.  All ushers and anyone interested in ushering are requested to attend.

 

FEBRUARY 2015

FEBRUARY
Black History Month - During Black History Month, all of the Tribes will have representatives making presentations on one of two topics:
1.  The Historical Role of the Church in the Civil Rights Movement; or
2. Unsung Heroes of the Civil Rights Movement.  “More to come, Deacon Leonard Sanders, Tribes Coordinator"
